Start with the tray.
Open Jiggler normally in your signed-in desktop session. On Windows, look in the system tray; on Mac, look in the menu bar. Start or pause manually, or enable work hours with an optional lunch break. A grey icon means activity is paused or outside the schedule.
Mac needs your approval in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility for mouse activity. The app does not grant itself permission. Run Windows login tasks under your own account in the interactive desktop session.
Your tester gift
The gift is being prepared for the approved Android closed-test email list. Use your tester email when claiming. Downloads do not use a device slot; activation does. The gift edition will require initial online activation and periodic renewal.
Can I use Windows and Mac?
Windows x64 and a universal Mac test build are available internally. The Mac binary includes Apple Silicon and Intel. Final gift-release checks on physical Windows and Intel devices are still required before distribution.
Do I need to set work hours?
No. Manual mode lets you decide when Jiggler runs. Work hours and lunch pauses are optional, using the laptop’s local time. The current schedule repeats daily and uses same-day windows.
How do I replace a device?
Open My products → Jiggler → Manage devices. Remove the old installation, then activate the replacement. The planned default is two registered installations. Another operating-system user profile or reinstall may use a separate slot.
What happens if I’m offline?
The planned gift edition continues while its signed permission is valid, initially up to seven days from the last successful renewal. A removed offline device may continue until that permission expires. Expired permission stops Jiggler’s activity until access is renewed.
Will another copy open a second instance?
Opening Jiggler again leaves the first instance running. The second launch shows a brief notification and exits, without a blocking dialog.
How will updates work?
The planned gift edition will check quietly and offer Install and restart when an update is available. Updates preserve your settings and activation. Current 0.3.0 builds need to be replaced manually.
Can I give the gift to someone else?
The gift belongs to the approved tester’s account. Forwarding a claim link or copying an installer does not give another account permission to activate the protected edition. Older unrestricted test copies remain outside this mechanism.
