Optional Google Analytics

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, pages viewed, approximate location, device information and interactions with the website. It uses cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. We load Google Analytics only after you allow it, and our website configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalisation.

Choose “No thanks” to decline Google Analytics, or use “Privacy choices” to change your choice. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days using local storage. Each browser and website domain keeps its own choice; clearing browser storage may prompt you again.

Withdrawing permission disables further Google Analytics measurement from this website in that browser. It does not automatically delete information already collected. These controls apply to Google Analytics; the website delivery and Cloudflare measurement described below operate separately.

Our website tracking code removes query strings and fragments from the page and referrer addresses it supplies to Google Analytics. The contact and product events we configure describe the action taken, without including your message or email address. Google Analytics may also collect interaction metadata, such as link destinations, depending on the measurement features enabled.

Website delivery and performance

Our hosting and security providers process technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect the website.

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides separate measurements of visits and page performance. It does not use analytics cookies or local storage, or fingerprint visitors. Choosing “No thanks” for Google Analytics does not disable this measurement or the processing needed to deliver and secure the website.

Contacting Xidents

When you submit an enquiry, your name, email and message are stored in Azure Table Storage to respond to you. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information to help prevent abuse. Email enquiries are also used to respond to you. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information.

Keeping and processing information

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to respond, provide any agreed services and maintain relevant business records. When deciding what to retain, we consider ongoing support, contractual commitments, disputes and legal record-keeping obligations.

Analytics information is retained according to the settings and retention rules of the relevant service. The 180-day period for remembering your analytics choice is separate from how long analytics records are retained.

Service providers may process information outside Australia or New Zealand. Their privacy policies explain their practices: Google, Cloudflare and Microsoft, which provides our hosting and business email services.

Questions and requests

To ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email support@apps.xidents.com.au. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. If information must be retained, we will explain why.
